1.4 Equipment Recommendations for Mobility Work
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
Some of our exercises need extra equipment. These are not expensive and are easy to obtain. There are also many exercises that don't need much more than floor or wall space. We have also variations of exercises that you can do if you miss some of the equipment.
We recommend buying this equipment either way if you are seriously interested in mobility and muscle maintenance.
You can buy the equipment from your local stores. Or if you want to support us, you can buy them online through this link given below. The products are good quality and without any extra fees or increased price for you, we get a small commission out of the purchase for marketing these products (so if you buy them straight from their web store the price will be the same, as through these links). Optimally you need a foam roller, duoball, massage ball, exercise stick, tight resistance bands and weights.
Press on the item to go to the online store:
- FOAM ROLLER (Almost any length will do. With the longer one you have more training options. The short one is portable)
- DUOBALL (The smaller one suites best for our exercises)
- A SINGLE MASSAGE BALL (You may also use a tennis ball, which is less painful at first)
- TENNIS BALLS
- MASSAGE BALL+ DUOBALL SET (stylish ones ;D)
- EXERCISE STICK (You can use a broomstick if you don't want to pay extra, just watch out for splinters!)
- HEAVY RESISTANCE BAND (the green one should be optimal, but you can buy the whole set to be sure) (Also you can use a belt for most of our exercises)
- KETTLEBELL (Kettlebells are excellent for some mobility exercises. Any safe extra weight will do though)
If some of these don't ship to your country, you can scroll down the page and see if any of the related/suggested products can be shipped to you.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN DUOBALL
It isn't as good as the one you can buy. But it will do trick until you get a better one.
